This lion project which will contribute to secure the future existence of vital lion populations, is 100% dependent on financial support from grants, private funding and donations. Without these resources this project is not possible. The modern and high technology equipment being used e.g. satellite-GPS collars, night vision goggles and the research vehicle, diesel and service is quite costly.
